What a great pit stop this was. Totally unexpected. Stopped for fuel (same price the whole of the DR) and thought we’d grab a quick bite to eat. Amazing!! So glad we did!! Freshly BBQd meats (watch the chef work at the back of the complex) and a great selection of sides and salads. Also a selection of empanadas which I was sorely tempted by. Went with the BBQ pork belly with crispy cracking and shared a great avocado and tomato salad and coleslaw. Very quick service and assisted by the really friendly manager who spoke excellent English. Menus also in English and the staff were. Very kind and friendly. Opposite the restaurant was a shop with all the necessary supplies. There are also super clean, fresh smelling bathrooms/toilets. A great surrounding to eat at with lots of different places to sat at or eat in if it’s raining.

Foodpark Bella Mar was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. The food was absolutely delicious — every bite was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. What truly made the experience stand out was the spectacular service. The staff Merolis was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home from start to finish. This will definitely be our go-to place to eat in La Romana whenever we’re en route to Punta Cana. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful rest stop with a well manicured garden, plenty of shade and well maintained toilets. The brisket was delicious and the service was very attentive. Would highly recommend planning lunch here as you travel through - we were on our way back to Punta Cana airport when we stopped. We paid 2000 pesos for 2 meals and a drink

Lovely pitstop. The bathrooms were nice and clean, the atmosphere was adorable, and the food was excellent! Brisket was fantastic and very reasonably priced, and they even have gluten-free cheese empanadas that were out of this world! We also left with some Coca Colas and candy. Would stop here again!

Great stop as we were leaving Punta Cana towards Santo Domingo. Excellent service and delicious food. Rosie was amazing with great candor and very attentive.
