This is the first Mexican spot we tried in Santo Domingo and it did not disappoint! The birria tacos were incredible and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really well done. I loved the pineapple on the Al Pastor as well and the service was quick but good quality!! We were in and out within 15 minutes and enjoyed a fantastic meal!

This wasn't my first visit, but will probably be my last. The food is always really good. However the service lacks A LOT. Only 2 waiters, they didn't even ask if I'd like another drink or anything. The wait to pay was long, the wait for the food was long. My mother ordered her usual flautas, and they were sooo small....were too crispy and pretty much empty. The chicken they didn't put in my mother's flautas, they over stuffed in my son's quesadilla. The food is good, but the distance to get there and the (lack of) service is too much.

I came to this restaurant today and not one server waited on me - not one. I stood at the door for 15 minutes and during that whole time the waiters looked at me and walked by. Although the place was full of people, not one waiter paid me any attention after 15 MINUTES standing at the door. I finally left and went to another restaurant. I wish them luck in the future to have better trained wait staff. The food is good as I’ve visited before but the service is terrible. There’s no way a respectable restaurant would have a customer stand at the door for 15 minutes and no one greets him.

Got the pulled beef chimichanga. The smallest one I have ever had. It was baked rather fried. The taste was pretty good. The chips and salsa were gratis. Salsa was warm and tasted like from a jar. Chips tasted like store bought kept under a heat lamp. The decor was on theme though the chair was uncomfortable. Service was ok. Server originally forgot my order less than a minute after he took it. My biggest complaint was how small the chimichanga was. Not good value for money.

The place was full capacity during my visit. I bit too loud inside due to the live music. Decided to sit outside. I enjoyed my visit here. My only concern is that some dishes came cold. Other than that I'll return to this place and give it another try
