The rooms are simple, but they have all the comforts you truly need, including reliable hot water (which is not something to take for granted when travelling). Everything is clean, practical and thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is very well-equipped, which made longer stays easy and comfortable. It genuinely felt like a place where you can settle in, not just pass through. What truly makes this place exceptional is the staff. They were amazing — kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. They gave us great local tips and essential guidance that helped us get our heads around travelling in the country. That kind of support makes a huge difference. The location is perfect: walking distance from all the most important sights in the Zona Colonial, yet tucked away in a quiet area where you can actually rest. More than a hotel, we found a family — a true home away from home. We’ll always carry it with us.

We ended up staying here both times we were in Santo Domingo. The location is perfect, the building is very unique and funky and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and we had one of the larger rooms with private bathroom.

We stored our luggage there for a couple of hours through Radical Storage, very friendly owner and she gave us advice and was very warm and thoughtful. We didn’t book a room but we would definitely recommend it only by this experience ☺️

Absolutely perfect. If you go alone or in group and you want to meet new places, you have to stay here. Museums, Churches, Parks, and historical places are close. Also, the food. You can just walk and enjoy everything. It’s very safe

Best hostel in La Zona Colonial Claudia and Juan Carlos are very friendly and welcoming. They make of the hostel a very special place. Kitchen and common area are really nice. Bonus for the rooftop terrace ! The location is perfect close to everything.
