The location is PERFECT. you are walking distance to everything. The hotel staff never stops the cleaning process. the rooms, the lobby, the bar, the breakfast area are all super clean! The staff are super kind and always professional. No matter which door you enter the staff that greets you is so nice. My housekeeper was very diligent in making sure that each day I had clean towels and my bathroom was ready for the day. Herby was the smile that greets you at the front door and he is so nice and helpful and super professional and friendly. The staff at breakfast every morning treats you like you are royalty., I am definitely coming back

⭐ 1/5 I’m currently staying at this hotel and I’m extremely disappointed. I haven’t had hot water for two days. I’ve asked the staff multiple times and while they keep “fixing” it, the water is still barely warm and comes out in a weak drizzle. I literally haven’t been able to take a proper shower since I arrived. I even asked to be moved to another room, but was told there’s nothing available. Really frustrating experience — I expected basic amenities like a functioning shower, and the hotel has failed to provide even that. Yes the location is good and staff is nice & trying their best! But not having basic necessaries like a hot shower is not acceptable. Would not recommend.

Wonderfully located in the historical zona colonial, one can start from here to explore the surroundings and all kinds of restaurants and highlights. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast is awesome and on the roof top from where you oversee not only the river ozama but as well parts of the old town up to the Farro Colón. During evening hours and sun set one can enjoy the cocktails right up there. The rooms are nice and practical. Maybe more lighting but otherwise very cool. We will be back.

The service at Gran hotel Europa is focused in customer service; the staff was always willing to satisfy our request, in particular during breakfast time; they were always smiling and doing their best to please us... can't thanks enough to Kevin and Alexandra!... you are amazing guys!!!abrazos 💜😘

The hotel located in zona colonial walking to most attractions, room was clean and bathroom was working perfectly, Breakfast was included. The whole staff was super friendly. Our server for breakfast Alexandra was on point, fast and so sweet with our son. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Santo Domingo.
