Gregory gave us great personal service all the way! We chose the Haitises Park tour combined with the lovely small island of Cayo Levantado. He had great knowledge of the park history. Lunch on the island was also delicious. It was a great day, we (my wife and I) really loved it.

We had a fairy tale experience, in an atmosphere that mixes the history with the modern. We met great people and saw landscapes that leaves one speeches. We rode horses on pathways up to the Limon waterfall, and we swam in the water under the waterfall. Be prepared to find takeaways like MamaJuana or paintings and Larimar. Don’t worry, for most of the things you can pay contactless. After enjoying local cuisine, we had to visit the favorite beach of the locals in Las Terrenas. Another place where we found wonderful people and made friends. Please don’t forget to have an underwater device for taking pictures(sometimes a sealed bag for the phone is enough, you’ll find it at local shops).

Went on the Whale and Cayo Levantado tour. Gregory's tour is arranged by a third party. The tour should be in English, but they mostly spoke Spanish. If you are really interested in a whale tour there one other option, but if you would like a bit off whales and some hours on Cayo Leventado, this could be an option. We stayed 3h at the island, including one for the lunch. Overall the tour was a bit unorganized and chaotic. The down-side with a bigger boat (Sofia) is that it gets crowded and everything like get everyone on board and go to the lunch, takes time. That is probably not specific on this tour. All the sales guys in the harbour offers tours similar to the others.

Gregory is highly recommended!!! He’s such an amazing tour guide! We used him 2 days while in Samana and he was very knowledgeable of the peninsula. What I likes most about him is that he’s prompt, patient and very attentive. I will definitely make use of Gregory whenever I visit Samana.
