



Scooby-doo was a great help and his energy made the trip so much more fun. Not only him, but Raymond and Christobal were an amazing help as well and they were always coming to check on us to make sure everything was top notch, which it was! The location is beautiful, it’s always warm and beautiful. The rooms are nice and cool and air conditioned, and the beds are sooo comfortable. The service that me and my family received was amazing, from animated games by the pool, to the waiters at the restaurant, It was all amazing. We were so well taken care of, and all the workers are always so smiley and positive. The stay was amazing! And we will definitely be returning.
I had high expectations for a 5 star resort, but the service fell far short. While the property itself is beautiful, with great pools and beach access, the overall guest experience was disappointing. Many staff members came across as disengaged and at times even rude. I understand that not everyone speaks English, but basic courtesy, attentiveness, and willingness to help should not depend on language. Long wait times, slow service even during peak hours, and lack of urgency made simple things frustrating. Transportation around the resort was another major issue. With the property fully booked, there were not enough trolleys to accommodate guests. We often had to wait 20 to 30 minutes or walk long distances, which took away from the vacation experience. I attended a destination wedding here, and the coordination and service did not meet expectations. The couple did not receive the level of attention or care you would expect on such an important occasion, and food service during events was poorly managed. In summary, this is a great property with serious service and management issues. A 5 star rating should reflect not just the facilities, but the quality of service and guest experience, which was lacking here.
Scooby doo is so kind and funny, he is always there to help and is always doing everything he can to make our experience the best it can be. Scooby doo makes every day so much fun and so enjoyable. The service he provides deserves 5 stars every single time. I could not imagine my trip without Scooby, every time I see him he is always helping someone and giving them an amazing smile experience along with a big beautiful smile. Crystobal is so sweet and kind, he provides such good service. He’s always giving us such great seats at every place and he is constantly assuring that we have a good time. The pool is so clean and fun, the workers are always giving us amazing drinks and we have so much fun especially with crystobal and Scooby and all the people who work here.
My experience at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana was honestly very disappointing, and I feel obligated to share it so other travelers know what to expect. This resort markets itself as a luxury destination, but the reality is very different. The property is massive, but the organization and overall service simply do not match the price you pay. For example, the Wi-Fi barely works in many areas of the resort, which is unacceptable in 2026 for a hotel that claims to be high-end. What left the worst impression on me, however, was the way guests seemed to be treated differently depending on who they were. During my stay, I personally felt that Latino guests were often treated with less attention and respect than many American or European guests. Whether intentional or not, that perception is extremely uncomfortable and disappointing in an international resort that should make everyone feel equally welcome. Another thing that people should know before coming here: it feels like you have to tip almost in advance just to receive normal service. Several guests mentioned the same thing during my stay — that unless you are constantly giving tips from the beginning, the level of attention can drop significantly. A vacation should make you feel relaxed and valued as a guest. Unfortunately, this stay left me with the opposite feeling. For the price you pay here, there are many other resorts in Punta Cana that offer better service and a much more genuine sense of hospitality. Travelers deserve to know the reality before spending their money here. Worst vacation ever
As Legendary members we were pleasantly surprised again and again by our butlers Elvyn and Reydisson! The beach was fantastic and while one cant go in too far, as opposed to HRCabo we were able to swim in PCana. Lifeguards on alert and responsive, with teens venturing too far. Security plentiful and we felt just as safe walking the property day and night. We typically stay only at Unico however after Mexican civil unrest last week (2026) we decided to try the DR and we are glad we did! By far best Butler service of any legendary property that we have encountered to date!!!! Can’t wait for Doma to open next door as well! Service outstanding all around- spa shout out Paola /Australia! Eden pool staff were top notch!!!!! Everything above and beyond at Eden & in room! Exceptional service, not a single person got food poisoning and everything clean!!! 🙏
