The place is fantastic, fun, great music, and attention is to the top. It was my first time, and I didn't know what to expect. Before my trip, I stared as a place to go. I saw previous visitors' pictures and videos, and now I can relate. It's a "family" type of atmosphere. You feel as if you're home. I strongly suggest making reservations since seating is limited and attendance is high—the food is as a form of appetizers (do not expect a full dinner menu). The kites are very tasty, and many other plates we order. I suggest parking at the paid parking location next to this venue. The open seating area is excellent, where you can feel the breeze. The waiters and waitresses are dedicated to ensuring customers have a great experience. The owners are so welcoming. The music and singers are top quality. Getting live music and for the price you paid is priceless. On my next visit to Santo Domingo, I'll go back@

Great place to listen and dance merengue with Dominican artists and fans. Hasta La Tambora has the best cocktails🍸in Santo Domingo and tapas rich with local flavor. Friday nights are open nights so sing!

Good assortment of appetizers, good service, the Bartender is superb preparing cocktails . A limited variety of beers: Corona and President only. They're not that cold either. Hosts are a drawback: poor display of customer service

It was Valentines Day and my favorite performer would be there. My sister and I had arrived that day and...along with our friend we headed there. Upon entry...yes! My favorite singer greeted me with open arms and smiles as well as the entire band. Once seated, we just had beers and danced all night long. The audience is invited to gather on stage and dance(which I did). For a very first and unique visit I fell in love immediately! The decor is beautiful and very colonial...being located in Colonial Zone. Want a good place to be a part of the action and the fun...head here. Hasta La Tambora is a bucket list for all. I will always cherish it.
