I want to share my excellent experience with this Hertz location. I was helping book a vehicle for a VIP visitor from the U.S. to the Dominican Republic. I had many questions I needed resolved, so I contacted the staff several times. Karia R. was one of the exceptional employees I contacted, but there were several others, all excellent. The attention and kindness they showed me certainly demonstrates the excellent management of this location. My boss will pick up the car on August 1, and I'll add more details to this review after his rental. Everything is going great so far!

The sales person was kind, patience and professional. However, the car insurance surprisingly was more expensive than the actual car rental. For instance, we booked a car for about 10 days online for around 370 USD. We arrived to Hertz at Sheraton Santo Domingo and the sales person tells us that there is an additional charge for the car insurance of 40 (basic) - 45 (premium) USD per day (around 400-450 USD), which with local taxes was more than 900 USD. I would recommend to be more upfront with the car insurance cost at the Hertz site. We were not expecting to pay that much of car insurance.

I saw a representative named Deny. Deny was a great person, I told him what my budget was and he gave me an unbeatable price, where others were charging 80 dollars per day, he got us a rate of 50 dollars for a 5 passenger and tow insurance of 1.25. This included absolutely everything taxes, insurance everything. Literally the very best price around this area. The car ran perfect, didn't consume a lot of gas, and we went to the beach which was about 40 minutes away 2 times. The car had a good air condition system, good radio, very comfortable little car, It was a Kia picanto. I highly recommend this place truly a wonderful experience.

I had a fantastic, friendly, easy, and smooth experience renting a car here. Super communicative, and they had fair pricing. Much better than trying to figure out car rentals at the airport. Highly recommended!

Wow the old bait and switch! I went to get my car for 260 then they wanted to add insurance for another 300 plus a 200 deposit. Note that that was the cheapest option! I walked out without saying anything!!
