Feel cheated (Dollar at Las Americas Airport) I have now tried to get in touch with Dollar, but they are not interested in fixing this. So now it's time to give them a review. When we got to the airport to pick up the car det price was change with an increase of 34 % / $120 for one week rental. The increase was some insurance and roadside assistance that was mandatory, according to your employee at the airport. This was the first time we heard about these additional costs on a understandable way. If they really want happy costumers they should always give the right price in advance. We did not ask for any extra coverage or anything else. The car was without any damage when we delivered it back. And the gasoline they filled up (after delivery) are on top of the pice explained earlier. We where also a little surprised of the extra fee they took for filling up the tank. You had to pay for the gas plus a fee of $20 (American dollars). (The car itself was okay. That's why their getting to stars instead of one)
