My family and I arrived at the hotel around 1 p.m. Although check‑in was scheduled for 3 p.m., we were pleasantly surprised to be accommodated early thanks to the room’s availability. The room itself was spotless, in excellent condition, and both the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. We were very hungry when we arrived, and the food did not disappoint. Everything was delicious, but the Sancocho (Dominican‑style soup) truly stood out. The drinks were excellent as well—the margarita was great, but the piña colada was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Julissa Sánchez, in particular, went above and beyond. I accidentally left my Apple Watch—an expensive one—and she brought it to me while we were at the pool. A few minutes later, she even returned my glasses, which I had also forgotten at the table. She was truly an angel. Hodelpa clearly has an exceptional team of service professionals. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I even congratulated the manager for having such a wonderful staff. Please keep up the excellent work—you are all doing an amazing job! -

The hotel staff is always going over and beyond to meet our expectations. Today we had a wonderful experience where the restaurant manager after closing breakfast we came in at 11:15 am and lunch not opened until 12 noon he is old waitress to take our order, this is top notch attention to guests. Thank you. The food is really fresh and delicious. We didn’t have to go eat out of the hotel. Very happy!

First of all the exterior and interior of the hotel are immaculate. The outside area is artfully landscaped and the interior nicely furnished and very clean. Our large room felt comfortable and we had a nice view of the pool – only the window was dirty from the outside. There are daybeds and lounges around the pool and the outside patio invites to sit in the shade under climbing green. The breakfast offers a good choice and the dinners we took in the restaurant were very good. The location doesn't allow venturing out. One needs a car getting into the city but getting to the airport is easy with the complimentary shuttle of the hotel. We really liked this hotel and definitely recommend it.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The pillows were soft and thick, the comforter on the bed was perfect (not too thin). I enjoyed the tub in the bathroom and they had washcloths!! The breakfast was very nice, a bit more upscale.

The staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism, warmth, friendliness, and flexibility. From the front desk to the cleaning personnel, they showed great attentiveness. Ramón was particularly outstanding, as were Brayen, Erik, and Maria at the front desk. Jose and others also contributed to the excellent service. Overall, the entire team provided an exceptional experience, making me feel well cared for. I look forward to returning and staying at Hodelpa.
