Okay so having a medical emergency in DR is very different than going through an emergency in USA. (This is a trauma hospital so if you need medical attention they will care for you!) In USA they care for you and ask questions later. Here in DR is different. You need to be careful with what “hospital” you go to. With that being said, we went through a very hard time with a motor cycle accident that one of my teenagers suffered. We went to one hospital first who “was not equipped” to help and let her lay on a gurney in confusion and pain with a huge lump and unknown internal injuries. (Cruz Jiminian ) They had two ambulances outside their door and refused to take my daughter to another hospital. We had to order and wait for an uber to bring my desperate self to this hospital that my parents recommended.here at Dario Contreras they were great. They took her injuries seriously and immediately had ct and xray taken. They cleared us because we just happened to be boarding a plane back to the US. The doctors here are knowledgeable PATIENT and may i add, handsome! They took care of her without asking about money. Great doctors great place shout out to Marcos

The worst freaking hospital ever. They said they are 24 hrs but they can even answer a freaking phone. They need to close this place
