Really good place, location near my apartment in Los Corales (Punta Cana): good price near all restaurants, grocery store and beach 1 block from Santo Domingo bus. Late check in was no problem, staff so helpful. I completely recommend if your looking for a decent place to stay walking distance to everything.

Very disappointing stay. I booked three rooms, but when we arrived, one of the reserved rooms was not available. There were no towels in the rooms, and when we asked the front desk, we were told there were no towels available at all. There was also no hot water during our stay ,only cold water. In addition, there was no floor mat in the bathroom. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the rooms faced a very noisy street, making it hard to sleep. Overall, a terrible experience and not what we expected.

Had to give it 5 stars because its exactly what someone who needs a last minute room for a good price is looking for. $43usd ($64CAD), minutes from dozens of restaurants, groceries, lounges etc. Single room with single bed made it simple. Rooftop terrace is perfect for coffee, dinner or a nice Dominican cigar

Location is great. Everything else is bad. The staff don’t seem to be interested in doing any work. I arrived to check in at 8pm after a long day. The guy at the reception ideal kept playing with his phone for a whole awkward minute before he started asking about my check-in. When I arrived to my room, it was not the room I reserved. I booked a standard Studio, and got an economy room instead. The only towel on the bed was dirty. I asked them to change it, and they said they ran out of towels. When I insisted, I had to wait 15 min for the new towel. The bathroom water smells bad. The door knob to my room was almost broken; had to use the lock instead. Hot water worked one day and didn’t work the next day. When I checked out, there was no one at the front desk to leave the keys. It was a total mess. Not staying here again.

I had a great stay at Art Villa Hotel. The price was very reasonable for the quality and comfort provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my laptop charger at the hotel and was about to miss my bus, but the staff went out of their way to make sure I got my charger back on time. I truly appreciated their kindness and quick help. Highly recommended!
