Ninoska is a a waitress.at the Sea Blue Buffet Restaurant. The food is wonderful lots of choices. It has a fresh juice bar with your choice of green drinks. Red drinks any kind of drinks. The coffee is deep rich and absolutely delicious. The service is impicable.The waitresses are very, very caring, making sure that you have everything you need.Do not leave a plate longer than you put the fork down.It's gone from.your table and you're back to the buffet for something more. I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit at the Catanian Hotel.

The view from the ocean front room was stellar (but consider the street below is very busy and loud), the rest of our experience was a bit disappointing. The beds are advertised as queens but they are definitely not- the beds in our room were full and not comfortable at all. Every time one of us moved at night the head board would bang loudly against the wall. They only had 2 towels available in a room that was booked for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids and the bathroom counter had someone else’s hair on it which made me feel like the cleanliness was lacking. The bathroom door is dated and has no lock yet I got stuck in there several times because the handle would jam- I had to advise my children not to close the door to prevent them getting stuck. We requested a cot if available and they were unable to accommodate that- this hotel stay was probably the most uncomfortable sleep of all our travels. The ac in the room was not only loud but was also leaking from condensation build up on the metal plate and because it’s positioned above the head you must cross it to go to the bathroom- every time anyone stood under we’d get water droplets and the carpet beneath it had visible wear from this. Luckily we only secured one night at this hotel as we were passing through the capital but it definitely wouldn’t be a hotel I would book again. I will add the staff was very friendly but in the Dominican Republic this is the standard. This hotel seems to be used for conferences so the elevator was very active making the wait longer and at some point one of them was down for a bit. There are only 2. I didn’t have enough time to check out the pool or food at this hotel but if I had a pro tip to give is to photograph the mini bar at arrival and again at check out since the items in it are charged per consumption. They put a hold on your credit card for incidentals and deduct the mini bar consumption from it. It took a few days for me to see my funds reflect released.

Emmy was an amazing breakfast server! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She had a great attitude and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Our breakfast experience was even better because of her

I would like to give a very special compliment to Katerine. The breakfast buffet today was truly excellent – very diverse, fresh, and prepared with great care. What really made my stay special, however, was the outstanding service provided by Katerine. She took exceptional care of me with great kindness, attentiveness, and warmth. Even though she was certainly very busy, she still took the time to be present and made me feel genuinely welcome. Such dedicated service is not something to be taken for granted and truly deserves recognition. Thank you so much, dear Katharine, for your effort and your positive attitude – it will definitely be remembered!

I have been a guest at the Catalonia Hotel in Santo Domingo for over five years, visiting approximately every four months. The hotel is commendable, particularly due to Ms. Jennifer Cacimirro, who has served as my bartender for more than two years. She exemplifies professionalism and possesses extensive knowledge, a supportive attitude, and above all, kindness. I extend my gratitude for having an individual of her caliber on your team.
