Stay away from this place. I made a Booking reservation for one night, arrived to the hotel and they told me at the reception they do not have any room available for me - my room was already payed. The receptionist was unable to refund me via Booking and called her manager who was unpleasant and unhelpful at first. I had to spent 1 hour and 30 minutes at the reception and argue with them to refund my room. Even manager didnt know how to do it and made several calls which leaded to no solutions. She refunded me 80% of what I payed. I have never recieved the rest of the refund from Booking. The manager seemed to speak rude to the receptionist about me in spanish - I did not understand all as I don't speak spanish very well. The hotel is located on a very busy and, to me seemed dangerous street - I wouldn't suggest it to some solo travelers. If you are coming by a car you probably won't find a place to park there during the day.
How do I start the rooms are small and the parking horrible, the rooms smell like mold or just wet the shower has no water pressure , the free breakfast was free ! But I had a ham and cheese sandwich my wife had fried eggs with magu which is mashed up banana and to drink they gave us some juice that tasted like dirty mop water ! Any American coming here take it from an army vet stay away
About 25 minutes from Playa Dominicus where you can do day pass at the resorts, but you are right on the road so you hear constant traffic. There is free parking but it is a tight squeeze (there is a parking attendant to help guide you). When we stayed, the free breakfast was mangú with scrambled eggs or a ham and cheese sandwich with tamarind juice. It doesn't seem possible to stay if you can't handle stairs. Spanish only, but that's why you're here. The rooms and bathrooms are a tight fit and only about half the air conditioning works in the rooms. But if all you're doing is sleeping after a long day at the beach, it's cheap (around $45 USD a day) and doable. Friendly staff, but it took about 15 minutes for them to get the rooms ready even though we'd made the reservation online.
Great place to stay in La Romana, good rooms and cool AC wifi is decent and they offer included breakfast it was all we needed
Male sure to request a room upstairs. Breakfast was good. Coffee and Fruit Juices are excellent. You will be catered too.
