Been to La Casona Dorada many times and everytime has been great. My kids love the service and whole energy. Staff is always welcoming and relaxed. Clean rooms. Fast booking. 10 out of 10

Stay away!!! I'm sure you'll be able to find a better hotel. Dear Management/Customer Service Team The check in was slowget there and took forever to check in. They take us to the 4th floor the room was cramped it was a full bed (hard as a rock) with a twin bed . I went to complain, yes they switched our room and like an idiot I said it was ok. First off the room was not one of the renovated ones the furniture was old, no safe, no phone, there was no stand up shower it was inside a dirty Jacuzzi which we had to hold in oder to take a shower if not the floor will get wet- no shower curtain. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door with an ugly curtain. The refrigerator has mold inside and what is the point of having a refrigerator because when you leave the room the refrigerator turns off. A roach was crawling on the edge of the wall. (We have video). We delt with this but thank God it was just for one night. We were looking to get out but we're exhausted and since it was only one night we said we will just deal with this. We complained on our way out and all they kept saying was that "that's what I booked". I said "no that is not how the pictures look on website. Why don't you post those pictures on website."Here are some of the pictures of the room. The gym was also unusable as the temperature felt like a sauna. The breakfast was good the lady cooking was probably the nicest part of the hotel experience. The AC takes forever to cool the extremely hot room. This has to be the worse experience.

Hotel La Casona Dorada certainly rolls out the red carpet with a great welcome! 🏨 Its good location and cleanliness are spot on. While the mosquitos in the rooms were tiny uninvited guests 🦟, a repellent needs to be installed. The pools and gym were a bonus 🏊‍♀️ Breakfast timing is not adhered to and perhaps a refresher course for some staff. Also, the nighttime noise and music runs till very late so if you want to sleep at 11pm, it is not easy with the rooms not being sound proof. I had added an extra day to my stay but the system checked me out and I was barred going into my room. Later, spending time with reception I was allowed in but that shouldn't happen.

Very nice place, but!! the A.C in the rooms are never working properly, even if you reported to manager, the problem never get fixed, D.R is always hot and humid so to sleep comfortable in a hotel you need a good A.C

Beautiful and clean place. The employees were very helpful. Room was clean and all linens were fresh. Breakfast was good.
