This place is worse than the photos online. Rooms are what I imagine a homeless shelter would be like. We didn’t have a light in our washroom nor did they provide towels. If you have no other choice and need a place to stay overnight then sure. But to be honest it was beyond terrible!
It's a cheap hotel. Lots of beds in each studio room. It's comfortable for me, but it's not for everyone. There is a cafe in the lobby, but it is not open on Sundays. Also, they turn the air conditioning off at 9:00 a.m.
Though my last visit was five years ago, this place was PERFECT for the price paid. It was relatively quiet (just street noise), CLEAN, really inexpensive, and the staff I was amazing . I would stay there every time I travel to Stgo. eventhough I have family and friends in the city.
After arriving on the property without the correct amount of Dominican pesos having only American dollars the receptionist informed me that I had to pay another $6 because I was paying in American money. It was made very clear to me that I didn't have any choice him knowing that there was no place to get pesos from where I was. Other than that the place was a real dump. The pillow stank andthe bed was uncomfortable. Also a terrible location there's only one place around within walking distance to buy snacks and whatnot. You may want to pass this place buy when booking a hotel in Santiago
Pretty nice hotel, very clean and warm running water. Not a great location, had to uber across the city to get to any restaurants. For some reason only one bed in each room was a waterbed. Great for groups looking for a cheap hostel. Also there was a small restaurant inside the hotel with wifi.
