Currently staying at the Bavaro Selection Suites. My family and I are part of the Iberostar membership and are taking advantage of the membership perks. We have been having a great time until today, when we were approached by staff and told we were in a prohibited pool. Upon our arrival, we were given explicit directions as to what was and what was not included in our stay. Unfortunately half of that information was incorrect. Day 6, we got kicked out of the, what was labeled the “prestige pool”. We had been visitors of this pool from day one, as this was indicated as our private pool access. It was pretty embarrassing to be called out in front of all the other pool members, considering we had been at the private pool from the start. From what we were told (again after all the initial bad information provided) that only the bar and beach were allowed and not the pool that was in the exact same area. For any Iberostar members, there aren’t any additional perks outside of the bar. I am not sure this resort is worth being a member. For what it is worth, the bar tenders at the beach bar are amazing. I will add photos tomorrow to show how confusing this whole area is. Bad signage and bad instructions….not a good day to be a member.
It is a very nice resort, family friendly. Do not expect gourmet food. It is good but not super amazing. People try to please customers but there is a lot of people so make sure to tip and smile lol it shows cases respect locally
Everything was excellent. It truly exceeded my expectations. A very nice experience.
Great hotel with an excellent entertainment team, special mention to Pablo, a very funny guy
A great place to relax. Clean, green, well maintained and very peaceful. Ideal bars and restaurants in the complex, extremely high quality service. Perfect!!! Its only drawback is that it is very far from Bulgaria, so it is better to be there for at least two weeks :-))
