I spoke with someone at the front desk who told me that without a Dominican ID, I would have to go to another hospital. She seemed more concerned about my origin when scheduling my mother's appointment. She started laughing, and when I asked if I had said anything funny, she said I should go to another hospital because I wouldn't be treated there. Can you imagine your mother is sick, and another hospital refuses her case because it is severe, And gave her a referral to this hospital, and you are trying to schedule an appointment for her to see the doctor. Then, the people who are supposedly there to help are making fun of you. The world has come to an end. Humanity no longer exists. I work in a hospital myself, and I treat my patients with love and will continue to do so.
my mother in law is being treated here. I do not give them less stars because the equipment they use and the medicine is better than many locations. The staff on the other hand is TERRIBLE. She had chemo-therapy done and was sent home after treatement, no aftercare instructions. She reacted badly to the medication and had lockjaw for 5 days, couldnt speak (still cant speak properly) today 6 days later is when they are going to check her throat. The doctor when asked why her condition deteriorated and what was happening stated, she has thrown in the towel. Obvious that she does not know her patient, nor the reactions of the medication on the human body. Asked for her medical record they provided old documentation and have not released information about her new care or what the future plan of action is. Very disappointed, yet because of where we are and the insurance she has it is the best that is available.
It's a complete medic institute for cancer
The customer service was terrible. Two women told me not to ask any more questions in a rather unfriendly tone. I replied that guiding people and answering questions is part of their job and customer service, to which they responded that she had already told me not to ask any more questions and not to bother her. And this is the first time I've ever been to this hospital.
The government and the Ministry of Health should pay more attention to these centers, where doctors and nurses treat patients like garbage, and not only that, they let dozens of patients die due to negligence and lack of care. I understand that the center is public, but they should provide better treatment to the users...
