In this clinic, communication from the surgical staff is terrible and practically nonexistent, and the waiting room facilities are ridiculous. There are only four seats, the air conditioning doesn't work, and there isn't even a coffee or snack machine. You have to go down six floors to the building's entrance. The medications that are going to be distributed to patients in the morning are lying on the floor.
The lack of organization is evident here. Two days ago, I was downtown, and at school dismissal time, this street gets incredibly congested. An ambulance was stuck in traffic for about five minutes (the patient was fine, thank you very much). There's a very clear sign saying parking is prohibited, and on the other side, the sidewalks are painted yellow. The directors should appoint someone who isn't a doctor to at least conduct quarterly risk assessments. I say this is just one example because there are many shortcomings I've identified during four visits to the center. One simple example: an out-of-service elevator with no sign indicating it. People tell you when they see you waiting that it's not working.
My first experience at this place was 10/10. I went for the early morning shift and the doctors and nurses were very efficient, quick, and professional. I would definitely go back.
The staff is very friendly and the specialists are very well trained, but there are shortcomings regarding basic services in the inpatient area: they don't have enough drinking water available, they only give you 3 bottles of water in the morning, to have a test done even if you are admitted you have to wait your turn like any outpatient (that can't be possible) and the orderly takes up to 30 minutes to move a patient and then after you are discharged you have to wait 3 to 5 hours to get the bill and finally be able to go home.
