Good experience and kid friendly. You get to do your own chocolate bar. Reservations needed. It's great to have a sample of what it's like when you go their farm, but here in the city.

It was an interesting and uncommon experience to do in Santo Domingo specifically in the colonial zone "Zona Colonial". I recommend making a reserve in advance so you can arrive with calm and enjoy your stay even more.

Really enjoyed my time here. We only did the chocolate bar making which includes a walkthrough of the process from cacao plant to chocolate product. It was $10 or 600 pesos each. Chocolate bar took 20 minutes then another 10 minutes waiting for the bars to set. We checked out the gift shop while waiting. They have chocolate and baked goods available. This is across from the fortaleza so would be good to visit these sites back to back.

I had a great time squeezing in a chocolate experience late in the day. I had some time to kill before dinner, so I stopped in and spoiled my appetite with the wonderful chocolate available. I made my own chocolate bar, dusted with coconut and almonds. The adjoining cafe and ice cream shop is fantastic too. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their business - I mean, it’s chocolate who wouldn’t want to know about that?

My daughter had the most amazing experience today thanks to the kind staff. 💕🍫💕 Also, the bonbons are delicious. The hot chocolate is our favorite and the ice cream is delectable. If you are in the Colonial Zone this experience is a must visit. I did not get the name of this beautiful and kind associate- but she deserves a raise and accolades and acknowledgement. She radiates kindness and is a wonderful example of someone that loves their work! 💕🍫💕
