This little hole in the wall has great-tasting pastelitos which they call empanadas. I was very impressed with how fresh they were. I highly recommend the empanada de pollo cremoso for $85 RD. 🤌👌 The customer service can use some improvement. If you're getting an order delivered to your home, be prepared to wait almost an hour regardless if you live nearby. I live 5 loooong blocks away, and it took about 55 minutes for the delivery, but it's well worth it. The order arrived hot. Of course, I'm sure the high temps and beaming sun helped.
Good value, however don't order delivery. I waited an hour and decided to go pick up myself because it was getting late. I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Don't think I'll order again, extremely well done and the flavor wasn't great
I give this place 2 stars because of their horrible service. I know that customer service is a foreign idea in The Dominican Republic but this place is maybe less than 100 square feet and they always have 4 employees working. But when you enter the young women who work there don't say anything to you and prefer to just stare at you until you say something. Also, if you don't yell at them they pretend to not hear you, in a place that is the size of a walk in closet. The empanadas are good if you arrive when they are hot but mostly they are cold even though they have a heat lamp. A local friend tells me they charge double in comparison to other empanada shops. If your paying double the least they could say is Good Morning or at least recognize that your alive.
Good value for the price and best empanadas because they are made with mozzarella
Really really salty also, and the girl there was not really friendly...
