From beginning to end I enjoyed every minute! The service was excellent! I enjoyed my stay. The food was always done fresh, my nurses were always on time with my meds, daily baths. Vitals ect. Their priority was to keep me comfortable. The house cleaning came in daily to wash floors, bathroom and refresh my bedsheets. My meals were good if I didn’t like something she made something else. The owners were very nice. I love them! Conrad was my personal driver, he is very good at knowing the ins and outs of the city and also a secure driver. I felt safe by all means I wouldn’t hesitate to refer them to any of my friends and family!

I had an amazing experience at the kindness recovery house. The drivers were always on time for all of our appointments. I had the pleasure to have Joanna and Dilenia as my nurses and they are absolutely incredible, the cook and cleaning lady are also fantastic. The cook asked us everyday what we would like to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. my room/bathroom was always clean and trash was changed multiple times a day. They also have an amazing massage lady Pam, that works there!!The owner has great hospitality and genuine care, if i go back to the dr for surgery again I will most definitely be staying here!!!

I love Kindness.... CeeCee and Conrad was amazing and So was the staff. They wait on you hand and foot.. I just read in the reviews that the person writing doesn’t recommend kindness because the same person that cook your food does the cleaning as well, while I don’t know that to be true I wanted to add..... Don’t you cook and clean your own home? Didn’t your parents or parent cook and clean and take care of you when you were a child? I’m confused on why that’s a bad thing

Please read this review before choosing a recovery home in DR! This is a list of the issues my friend and I had while sharing a double room at Kindness: Never welcomed/given a tour Had to ask who/how to pay once we arrived after being left in our room for hours No nurse call button for 2 days Blood on beds when we arrived 1st night a nurse stole $30 Never had a meal on the menu posted in the room and listed on website Dinner on our 3rd night was a PB&J sandwich Did not get medication on time Laundry was not done daily washing of faja or compression garments or bed sheets Nurses are not bi-lingual as listed Did not get lymphatic massages every day WIFI was poor so we were unable to work When you press the call button nurses would take 5-10 min to come or just not come at all No hydrogen peroxide or cleaning wipes provided Smells like cigarettes and weed Other guests extremely loud/door left open all of the time We left early forcing us to pay more money to leave earlier than expected and we were refused a refund. Then offered 50% of a refund for 3 days only and we were shorted on that, as well. Also did NOT get the $30 back that the nurse stole even though the owner acknowledged the nurse had done this.

Conrad and CC are amazing. The ladies that work here are awesome too. Never too busy to take care of any of your needs. Their cooks are really good too. One of the cooks, we called Madre (Mother in Spanish), is a really good cook, plus she made my wife really feel like her daughter. Conrad is cool AF and he'll take you just about anywhere you need to go, whether it's to an appointment in the clinic or to the beach or to get that good ol Presidente lol Oh and can't forget about O.G. (her real name is Delaney--i don't know how to spell it lol) anything you need, she can take care of it and get it done...and she's gonna make sure you're on time and ready. Extremely competent. This recovery house is one of the best. Plus it had a rooftop lounge area. Can't say enough about Conrad, CC, Madre, or OG. Lol Just genuinely good people and thats what makes them a very solid, and competent recovery house.
