If you’re thinking about Kukua… just book it! I got married at Kukua in January 2026, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Their in-house planner, Rachel, is incredible. I booked the venue more than 18 months in advance, and she was there for me every step of the way. She helped me stay on budget, talked me through the stressful parts of wedding planning, and always managed to responded to my many messages, even late at night. You truly couldn’t ask for a better planner. Planning a destination wedding from far away can feel overwhelming, but Rachel made the whole process so easy. One of the best parts about Kukua is that they handle so many of the vendors and planning details for you, which takes a huge weight off your shoulders. On the wedding day, I was completely blown away by how beautiful everything looked and how amazing the food was. From the gorgeous florals to the thoughtful décor and the stunning backdrop, everything was perfect. I had a very specific vision, and they absolutely nailed it. They even repainted the aisle the day before to make sure the venue looked fresh. The Kukua team truly goes above and beyond, and you won’t regret trusting them with your special day.

One of the rare place open to public ... all others did not get it. I sat in a empty restaurant, thenwaiter brought me the menu unfortunately the manager (old guy) came and told I cannot sit there that they are keeping the table for 4 people (2 tables together) when I left I was still the only guest, then No ice tea in house American most healthy drink , No fish croquettas, the sautéed garlic shimps were in a soup of oil and it supposed to be butter, the fish with garlic No garlic, Salad not tossed just bottles of O n V. I asked for drink menu they went to the bar at the beach to pick it up.... A Disaster No wonder No one come here. They need a real Chef to teach the cooks

The venue was absolutely stunning and very well equipped. The setup, space, and temperature were perfect for our needs; truly “ask and you shall receive.” The staff were wonderful and happy to help with anything we needed. All of the food was delicious; I especially loved the Caesar salad, red snapper, chicken pineapple salad, tiramisu, and surprisingly the piña colada, which I normally don’t drink! I highly recommend splurging on the lighting, Bali bed décor, extending your reception time, live entertainment, and of course, jumping in the pool at the end of the night! The gold utensils were a beautiful touch that added to the elegant feel, and having the flexibility to use our own bilingual signage helped personalize the event. The venue allowed us to keep the celebration intimate, making it easy to be truly present with the people who mattered most. The only things I wish we had added were late-night snacks and a larger cake, our desserts were gone in the blink of an eye, even though we ordered double what we needed. Having such a luxurious wedding for about half the cost of what we would have paid in Maryland made the experience even more incredible.

Writing this review gives me a REALITY CHECK because I just want to relive this whole planning era! From the moment we found Kukua Punta Cana, we knew it was the one. Our wedding was a dream come true and our guests STILL can’t stop talking about it. Planner – Uniquely Rachel: 1000/10 Rachel is my forever homegirl! She kept us grounded, embraced my true vision, and made planning a destination wedding feel easy. Her organization and creativity are unmatched. Venue – Kukua: 1500/10 Absolute perfection. Beautiful weather, stunning décor, and every detail executed flawlessly by Mayte and her team. Our colorful setup, unique napkins, florals, candles—everything was beyond what we imagined. The staff took amazing care of all our guests all night long. Photo & Video – Photo Cine Art: 13,000/10 Milan and his team told our story beautifully! He captured every angle without us even noticing. Nata handled everything with great communication. The final photos and videos were everything we dreamed of. Content Creators – Maid of Content: 10/10 Captured every candid moment perfectly and delivered everything within 24 hours. She even updated my IG live and organized all our stories! Hair & Makeup – Brides by Montilla: 10/10 Olga is incredible. She adapted to my last-minute changes and my makeup survived our big pool jump! She also squeezed in 3 extra girls and helped book a barber my husband loved. Travel Agent – Our Destination Weddings: 10/10 Carol and Carolisa were amazing, responsive, organized, and so helpful when we had a check-in issue. Coordinating nearly 50 guests was a breeze thanks to them. Stay – Paradisus Palma Real: 8/10 Beautiful resort, great concierge, and perfect size for our group. A few check-in hiccups, but once fixed, we loved our stay and the spa experience after the wedding. Crazy Hour: 1000x/10 One of the BEST parts of the night! So fun, energetic, and a perfect celebration of our cultura. DJ: 8/10 Great vibe and kept the dance floor packed with Spanish hits. Appreciated that he checked in before playing certain songs. MC & Officiant – Alejandro: 10/10 Amazing! He officiated and MC’d in both English and Spanish, kept everyone engaged, and made us feel at ease. Our wedding at Kukua Punta Cana was everything we dreamed of and more. Every vendor went above and beyond. If you’re considering a destination wedding,TRUST this team. You’ll be in the best hands.

Wedding date 10.24.25 (Hurricane Melissa). Ok... I know what you're thinking. Am I really about to book a place in a foreign country that I've never seen before. YES, YES YOU ARE. Please just do me a favor and trust all of the reviews like I did. You can also go on to wedding wire, where there are way more. This place is so much more dreamy than even pictures can do it justice online. The staff is INCREDIBLE. Rachel, the wedding planner/coordinator is just the most amazing human. She is there for you the entire year before your wedding - planning, questions, and literally anything you can think of that you may need. She will talk you off a ledge or out of doing something silly or outlandish. Her services are included in your wedding process FYI, so you're not shelling out an absurd amount of money (which is unheard of btw). When you finally come on-site you'll meet Mayte, who is responsible for making the magic come to life the day of, and who you'll meet for your tasting. David is also amazing - he runs your wedding so it's smooth as butter the day of. The owner is also so lovely and... it's a family business which I love. Trust them all - they've been doing this a long time together. The level of professionalism and responsiveness was above and beyond what I expected. They made what should have been a very stressful year (and day) into an extremely manageable and relatively relaxing experience. All this to say... I had a tropical storm hit on my wedding day. They still did an incredible job in shuffling things around and making it work, while ensuring me that everything was taken care of. The food was amazing. Our tasting felt so special a few days before. Not to mention, the decorations and elaborate nature of our wedding would've easily cost us 100-200k in NY. The best decision we ever made was choosing to have our wedding here. I would host a 10 year vow renewal here again in hopes for some sunny weather!
