This is a nice small bar that I found while on my way back to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing. The inside is spacious enough for a birthday party which was actually reserved for that purpose while I was there cooled by the air conditioner. I was also pretty surprised that the bar has this American atmosphere something i haven't found during my stay until then with the wood countertop and stools. It has the typical selection of beers that you will find in D.R. among others but I opted for the 5,0 wheat german beer which i wanted to try and i couldn't go wrong. The outdoor area is at the front with plenty of parking space inside this area in case you can't find outside parking or driving around. The bar is owned by two brothers and you can spot who the regulars are by the way they greet each other. I felt pretty comfortable with the people around me being the only Asian in the establishment. While I didn't ordered food myself, i made friends with a party of 10 who ordered 3 platters of wings, sausages, plantains, fries, and were nice enough to share with me. While the wait was a little longer than expected given the birthday party going on, the portions were a decent size that there was even leftovers to take home. At the end of the night, I took an Uber back to the hotel even though the area is pretty safe at night. Just be careful where you wait for the cab, because if you wait at the middle of the block like I did, the taxi driver will make a right turn into a residential guarded area so it is best to wait at the corner. So, if you are in the area in need of a place to chill, come check it out and maybe you'll come out making friends or two like i did or just having a great time overall.

Excellent atmosphere, one of the very few on Avenida Independencia in the KM area. Here you can find snacks, drinks, and a relaxed environment to chat with friends. Easy access to public transportation. Open every day, obviously with current regulations regarding opening hours.
