MUST VISIT for travelers in La Zona Colonial. Best place to try local and traditional sweets! We filled half a carry on with their products. Absolutely delicious! Also a great spot to try the famous Queso Geo! Don't let the minuscule amount of construction in the area stop you! Thank you to La Casa de los Dulces! We'll be back!

I love and recommend this experience to everyone i can. Carlos was amazing, he was more than knowledgeable in all things chocolate/cacao. He was nice and friendly throughout the entire experience. Chocolate bar came out great. The rest of the staff was so friendly and i even got a chocolate smoothie!

This is the place to get your sweets in the city of Santo Domingo! There is an endless variety of products from many different manufacturers. They also carry some popular spirits (Brugal, Barceló, etc.) and a few souvenirs so that it becomes a one-stop shop!

Do yourself a favor an stop by if looking for any local sweet treats, there is not a better place in the city, they may need some minor upgrades in there approach to promoting themselves so customers buy even more but they are very good.

Got the candy sampler. Low rating is because you can find these items at many other places. The only thing special was the sampler. And many of the sampler pieces were redundant. I expected made in house candy. Seems to just be a retailer.
