This is a very cozy spot in Santo Domingo with an amazing atmosphere—perfect for drinks and hanging out with friends. While the food isn’t the highlight, the ambiance more than makes up for it. I wouldn’t recommend it for a full meal, but it’s a great place to relax and have fun.

The food is incredible and very reasonably priced. And the desserts are divine. Very welcoming staff you will enjoy your evening here

We've been exploring breakfast spots and this is now our official favorite--what a beautiful little place! The service was excellent and it was so nicely decorated. I had the omelette with chorizo and aguacate 🥑 and he had the breakfast burger 🍔, both were so delicious. I also had hot chocolate which is always good. We'll be back!

La Dolcerie was previously of higher quality and a popular spot for A-listers. The food is consistently delicious, but the service could definitely use some work, which negatively affects the overall experience. They are in the process of upgrading their patio area and will sit you next to the construction. This is what happened to us in the last visit, we were seated in the patio and ordered our breakfast, and shortly after a construction crew came with welding equipment and banged on metal less than 15 feet from where we were sitting. I recommend more care in prioritizing staff training rather than focusing on improving the aesthetics. The place is beautiful as it is.
