Randolph was an amazing guide on our hike to El Tabernáculo! It was so much fun, such great company I had. As someone who doesn’t know how to swim, I was pretty nervous about parts of the tour, but he made sure I felt safe the entire time. He was patient, attentive, and always right there to guide me through the water crossings and tougher spots. Thanks to Randolph, I was able to relax and truly enjoy the experience. Highly recommend him to anyone — especially if you’re not a strong swimmer! 😉 I highly recommend this awesome activity!
We had gone to Santo Domingo without a plan so we looked online and found LaEx tours had so many tour options at a great price. We took 2 tours with them: Boca Chica and Catalina island. They communicate through WhatsApp, we didn’t realize at first so we were late to our tour but our tour guide Ronnie did everything possible to get us to join them. Ronnie was our tour guide and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and fun! He let us do a lot of what we wanted to do and wasn’t opposed to doing things differently if everyone was on board. The views were beautiful and we felt very safe everywhere we went. Definitely recommend these guys and will for sure book more tours with them when we are back.
My wife and I booked the Hiking Tabernacle Waterfall as it was suggested to us through Airbnb we are so glad we did. It was an amazing experience, definitely a medium difficulty if you’re used to hiking, harder if you’re not used it, but our guide Randolph was the best! From start to finish he made us feel safe, was knowledgeable and had amazing vibes. My wife, who has lupus, struggled with this tour towards the middle of it and Randolph helped guide her and made and kept her safe. We enjoyed this experience so much, we booked a more relaxing second tour, and were thrilled Randolph hosted that one too! We will definitely book more tours from La EX Tours next time we come back to SD, highly recommend!
Loved the tour with Ronnie. He knew a lot of information and helped us with everything. The pick up went smooth and we got an amazing lunch. The places were beautiful especially the caves and the last beach.
Randolph is one of my favorite people I’ve met on the island! Amazing tour guide, kind down to earth and very knowledgeable. We hiked the tabernacle and did the tres ojos tour. I struggled with the tabernacle due to my lupus and poor research. I have a medical condition and was struggling to keep up with the rest of the group and having some seriously painful muscles contraction that made me feel very afraid and Randolph literally held my hand all the way out of the forest. I was struggling to see and move and he made sure I was safe and secure the ENTIRE time. Again I should have done my research to prevent this from happening but I was still able to enjoy the experience thanks to the amazing support of our tour guide. Later we did tres ojos because we enjoyed our first adventure so much and we learned a lot about the islands history while enjoying some local culture and cuisine. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting the DR
