Overall it was ok. The reason I give this a 2 star is because they required cash on the spot for an online reservation. Also there was no reception desk. Just some random guy who didnt speak any English (I do speak some Spanish) however this should be noted for people reserving this place incase they dont speak Spanish. The major concern was they the cash payment which they didnt know what to charge you. So you had to show proof of the price you booked it for and pay with Dominican pesos and do the conversions yourself. Also the room was ok but only had a sheet on the bed. No top blanket even thin one. Also the toilet paper wasn't toilet paper. It didnt rip when pulled-very odd. Lastly the beach across the street isnt recommended for tourists. There are homeless people there and high chance of getting robbed.
The pictures make it look better than it is. The pool area is OK but the rooms have dated furniture that is either broken, breaks or doesn't work, like the TVs. Don't waste your money eating or even having a coffee here as you will be bitterly disappointed, given how surprisingly expensive it is. And there's absolutely nothing to do in the area.
Dirty kitchen and utensils, no hot water, no mosquito nets. But the AC worked and it's got a pool and... kinda okay for the malecon location and budgety price, maybe?
The place was great and the attentions by the hosts were amazing. Room was comfortable and clean.
