Susan and this jewelry shop exceeded expectations! She spent one on one time with me and my three girlfriends explaining each piece and answering any questions we had. She even stayed past closing time to help us with no complaints and couldn’t have been more pleasant and more happy to help! Would recommend for both the hospitality and quality of the jewelry as well.

Susan was incredibly helpful and had such a variation in jewelry styles. All of her pieces were amazing and she even showed me pieces that were less expensive but much more in my style. Her prices were also excellent and the craftsman ship was impeccable! Definitely recommend a visit even if it is a little out of your way.

Finally found the jewelry store I was looking for - Larimar! Went to hotel shops, markets… everything was just not my style or felt fake. La Reina Dominicana was so different! Jewelry designed by actual craftspeople, bold styles, beautiful stones, and HUGE selection, and reasonable prices by weight. Friendly and informative service, no pressure, and some really gorgeous pieces. Mostly Larimar, but there were other stones, too. The sterling silver craftsmanship was solid and looked so much better than the other shops I had been into. The shop was off the main highway from the airport to Punta Cana, and we had our airport transportation guy make a special stop for one last try at finding something nice. Look for the jewelry banner above the stone wall with a bright blue gate. I ended up with a gorgeous ring, two pendants, earrings, and my kids each picked up a chunk of stone for their general collections. So much more I wanted, but I’ll wait to place an order on the website. I wish I had taken some shop pics but my husband snuck in some of me browsing that shows some jewelry in the background. I was mesmerized!

Comfortable atmosphere adjacent to Domenico Cigars. Great prices 🌞 and much better selection than most larimar jewelers in Punta Cana or Santo Domingo. Some off-street parking available; look for sign along coral wall and blue security gate. Languages; English German Spanish and Italian.
