The workers that came and wrapped up all the furniture did a great job. There was 5 guy awesome job they were there taking care of business 👍. Once I got to Florida the workers that delivered the furniture to my home , they complimented the people in the Dominican Republic that did the wrapping on the furniture, they said they did a great job that nothing broke in the shipping. I received all my boxes . Thank you La Rosa Del Monte in Santo Domingo and Thank you Lissette for helping us through the process in this big move we made. She was always there if we had any question or if we needed anything. She is very kind and friendly 👍❤️ .
Very poor customers service delivery was 20 days late
A COMPLETE DISASTER! We requested a moving quote and they never met the deadlines. The employee in the quoting department was awful. They promised to send us the quote but didn't respect the delivery deadline and blamed others. We absolutely do not recommend them. This company has no empathy and their word is nothing! Mr. Wilfredo tried to resolve the issue, but the quoting employee was a disgrace!
They are licensed scammers. They charged me fees that were already paid in the signed agreement we made, meaning I paid double. And a lot of merchandise was missing; it never arrived when I moved to the Dominican Republic.
Before getting to the review, the guys doing the moving are good, helpful, and efficient. The problem isn't with them. After getting quotes from three local moving companies for a move of less than 10 blocks, we chose LRDM because it was the cheapest quote but seemed just as comprehensive as the others. In short, the move took twice as long as quoted, and suddenly there were additional costs for carrying sofas up the stairs that weren't discussed in the quote (apparently $90 per sofa per trip, meaning an extra $360... then they supposedly lowered the price a bit). We did warn them that there was a possibility the sofas wouldn't fit in the elevator. We ended up paying 30,000 pesos more than the quoted price because if we didn't pay, they wouldn't carry the sofas up. In the end, we're going to pay 20,000 pesos more than another quote that did include carrying the sofas up the stairs and unpacking the boxes. If you're going to use this supplier, make sure they give you an accurate quote and make an informed decision; ask about the price of anything else that might be needed.
