We had an amazing experience at La Taverna Pepe. The food was incredibly delicious. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. We sat outside on the back patio, and the atmosphere was wonderful and very cozy. Old, mature trees create natural shade, and the whole space feels peaceful and relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you can truly slow down and enjoy your meal. Great food, beautiful setting, and a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended.

10/10 so far my favorite restaurant here in Punta Cana. We came in for a late dinner and sat inside. The restaurant was busy. Service was great. We sat in the back room which made it feel a little more private. We ordered for starters the croquetas de ropa vieja (wow) white wine and for dinner we had the Hunter chicken (I found the chicken a bit dry but the flavors were amazing) Ossobuco Milanese was delicious but the best dish was Pasta con pesto y camarones (wow) everything was great and we cannot wait to go back ! If you are looking for some good quality food check them out.

I had such a great experience at Pepe! I went here for a solo birthday dinner. I had the chorizo in red wine sauce appetizer and the angus steak salad as my main course. Service was speedy, prices were reasonable and food was delicious! I informed my waitstaff that it was my birthday and not only did they bring me a tasty treat; they sang me a song and compensated my meal. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Punta Cana!

Here you will find a very varied menu, they serve Spanish food, pastas, Mexican, sushi and also now they have a Lebanese corner. We ordered hummus which was tasty and had a smooth texture but it was too cold and the pita bread was not as fluffy as we would have liked. We also ordered some croquetas that were very tasty. For mains we had the shawarma wrap and a roasted lamb, both were tasty but the rice that came with the lamb had a slight rubbery texture that took away from the overall execution of the dish. For dessert we shared a bread and butter pudding. It was not bad but the pudding could have been hotter and the ice cream was just ok.

The food and service were outstanding. Our waiter Christian was very kind, welcoming and accommodating. My wife and I each had a Cesar Chicken salad and felt pretty full by the time our main courses arrived !!!
