The hotel was very nice overall, with a central location, spacious rooms, a well-functioning AC, and a large ceiling fan. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was excellent. However, we were disappointed with the bedding. They only provided a single thin sheet, without the usual day blanket, which made it uncomfortable to sleep at night. We felt cold and had to turn off the AC, but then it became too hot. Unfortunately, opening the windows wasn’t an option because the mosquito net had a large hole, and we ended up with many mosquitos in the room. This issue definitely impacted our comfort

Great stay in the heart of Las Galeras Las Galeras Hotel is a great option if you're looking to stay in Las Galeras, Samaná. The price was very reasonable, and the rooms were adequate for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent; just a short walk to Playa Grande and La Playita, and right around the corner from the main street where all the shops and restaurants are. Good Wi-Fi. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast each morning was a nice touch. The owners are on-site and very attentive, which shows in the level of customer service; everyone was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a good, affordable place in a great spot.

I think the owner should pay more attention to the employees he has. My wife and I left a wallet with cash in it, we know it was at the hotel because after we were there we didn't go anywhere else or get out of the car, we checked the car from top to bottom and it wasn't there, we called and wrote to the hotel and they showed an enormous lack of interest, when we found out that it was left there I think that if they hadn't been so disinterested they wouldn't have or at least told us okay we would look for it carefully and let them know, on the contrary, the employee told us no, I never saw it and we know that it was left there, there is no other place, I didn't like the lack of interest at all because it was not 2 dollars that I left in my wallet.

The hotel is right in the town of Las Galeras. There are several restaurants in the area with good food and open until 10pm. The hotel is homey and has excellent service staff. The breakfast is outstanding and it is included in the price. Only 5 minutes from the Playita beach, which is amazing.
