I'm from the United States. This is an excellent place to have your laundry done. I’ve used them several times and the service has always been great. They offer wash-and-fold service—this is not a self-service laundromat. You drop your clothes off, and they handle everything. We don’t really have services like this in the US (most are self serve laundromats) so it may take some getting used to at first, but they are extremely professional. The location is easy to find, clearly marked, and on the ground floor. Pricing is very reasonable, especially if you’re coming from the US—just under 500 pesos (about $8) to wash, dry, and fold one load if you bring your own detergent. If you don’t have detergent, they can provide it, and I believe the total is closer to around 650 pesos, though I’m not 100% sure on that. You will need to physically drop your clothes off with them and pay in person, but you can use the Uber “Send” option to have your clothes delivered back to you. They communicate via WhatsApp when your laundry is ready. If you use the Uber "Send" option, you will need to message the Uber driver to go inside, which can sometimes confuse them since they’re used to curbside pickups. Occasionally a driver may cancel, but another will be assigned quickly. Once inside, the staff will confirm the Uber driver’s name, so you’ll need to send the laundromat that information via WhatsApp. One thing I’ve noticed in Santo Domingo is that communication can sometimes be difficult, even if you’re speaking decent Spanish. With an accent—you may get confused looks or feel a bit out of place. That has not been an issue here at all, which makes the experience much smoother. They appear to accept cash only at this location. I’ve seen mentions of cards or transfers elsewhere, but when I tried to pay with a card, they only accepted cash. It’s possible they may accept transfers, but I wouldn’t rely on it—just bring cash. There’s a nearby grocery store (attached to a SmartFit) that has an ATM if needed. If you drop off later in the day, or even in the late morning, your laundry will most likely not be ready until the following day. Customer service is excellent—you’re usually in and out in under a few minutes when dropping off. While some reviews mention pricing, for the service and location, I found it to be very fair. Overall, very reliable, convenient, and a great option—especially if you’re staying in an Air BnB without a dryer. Five stars.
Excellent service and great price! Very reasonable-very nice people! another laundry service nearby wanted to charge 10x the price!
They report to Google that they are open on Sundays. I went, however they were closed. Waste of time and gas.
A little too expensive but otherwise great service!
I bought brand new detergent and fabric softener, and they returned them EMPTY after only 4 cycles?! Unbelievable! It seems they're using your products for other customers. Terrible service. 470 pesos per wash cycle? I won't be back. Absolutely terrible service.
