I was quite disappointed with my experience here. They told us that we couldn’t smoke inside, but the owner was smoking inside behind the bar during her work, which felt very hypocritical and unpleasant. The staff were also rather rude towards guests and didn’t come across as welcoming at all. On top of that, they were quite pushy, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable instead of relaxing. Overall, it wasn’t a very pleasant experience and not somewhere I would choose to visit again.

we stayed for 12 days over the Christmas period, absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived we felt at home, a warm welcome and positive feel from the onset. We were greeted by the owner Sabine who introduced herself and partner Elena and the beautiful dogs! We were brought to our accommodation, the room was perfect for what we needed, spacious, clean and included a living area with a fridge, gas hob and a hammock, what more could you need!! We were directed to the bathroom where they supply local and beautiful body wash and shampoo. The laundry was cleaned and replaced every 2 days and we actually used the laundry services for our personal use. The hotel has a little gym/workout space that we used daily, it did the job well for us!! Now onto what can only be the described as the best part!! The food was amazing, really good options, great compliments of ingredients and top service from the team where we had really pleasant interactions with Sabine who seamlessly manages the front of house with energy, Elena who leads in all the food, ensuring what is on the plate is cooked to perfection and Anita our server who helped us with our (limited) Spanish and gave a great ambience. We ate there a lot and came back for more, including a beautiful Christmas meal which we could not be more pleased about, also they make a great margarita! Daily breakfast was prepared and served by Annie, so pleasant each day with a warm welcome and a maker of great coffee. All in all we couldn’t recommend this place enough, close to the centre, a lovely stroll to the amazing beaches or just lounge at the pool. Hated leaving but will make it a point to return. Dinner was excellent, Camembert to start, Filet of Beef, Pescado and Mousse to finish. Sorry but Simba got some Filet! Expensive for the DR but worth it.

we found this hidden gem in las galeras and were so so pleased with our entire experience! such a beautiful place with amazing food and great service. we can definitely recommend everything we tried and will be back!! great vegan and vegetarian options as well.

This was by far the best dinner we had in Las Galeras. The service was top notch and the food was to die for. And don’t even get me started on my husbands pins colada. Yum!!!
