Without a doubt, this is one of the very best restaurants in Las Terrenas. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty and welcomed with genuine warmth. The staff seated us at what had to be the best table on the beautiful rooftop terrace, making the entire evening feel special. I ordered the crab pasta served in a real crab shell, and it was absolutely sublime—rich, fresh, and one of the best dishes I’ve had in the Dominican Republic. Every detail, from the presentation to the flavors, was exceptional. The service was attentive without ever being intrusive, and the atmosphere was simply perfect. Great food, amazing vibes, and outstanding hospitality. If you’re visiting Las Terrenas, this is a restaurant you absolutely cannot miss. Highly recommended!

Le Tre Caravelle sits across from Playa Punta Popy doing the rarest thing a beachfront spot can do: actually cooking. A local friend, Michele, sent me here as his Las Terrenas favorite. Gemini warned me off lunch — no A/C, it said, the room gets punishing. But I came for a late lunch, the place was nearly empty, the weather was perfect, and the heat warning never showed up. Google’s 1,058 reviewers (4.4★) are right behind me. The almejas al vino blanco came in a garlic-and-lime broth I was still mopping with bread long after the clams were gone. The robalo was clean and bright under its lime coins. But the gnocchi with eggplant stole the show — bubbling tomato, melted mozzarella, the kind of dish everyone reaches for. Homemade pasta is the move. One honest note: the chocolate mousse was fine but flat — and Maps is screaming that the coco flan is the real dessert, so next time I’m listening. Verdict: the best Italian-Caribbean table in town. Order the pasta, finish with the flan. Next stop: a barefoot picnic at Playa El Anclón — let’s see if the sand lives up to the gnocchi. Cheap or pricey, I don’t care. Only the best place to go.

My best experience! There is not better service than in Le Tre Caravelle. All team are focused to provide best experience for each guest - tasty food from chef, amazing service from staff and really perfect place with views. Waiting also when will appear on Komida to order delivery. Now - my favourite place!

Very good experience. The terrace was really cute in a stunning set for Valentine’s Day. All the food was amazing but special mention for the coco flan. Must try in last Terrenas! Owner super friendly. 100% recommend

There is no better place in Punta Popy. The team is truly amazing — they make every guest feel welcome, cared for, and genuinely happy to be there. You don’t feel like just another customer; you feel like a friend they were waiting for. The service is attentive without being too much, the food is delicious, and the location is perfect for enjoying the views and watching the sunset. A beautiful place with great energy, great people, and a very special atmosphere.
