Service started great waiter was awesome. Food came at a reasonable time. They brought my food and forgot one of the sides I ordered. Also my steak came well-done when I asked for medium. Acceptable place to grab a bite but wouldn’t come again for a quality meal.
The food was great. The restaurant was empty, took the food quite a while to come out but it was well worth the wait. We will definitely be returning before we leave since it’s right next to our hotel. There was a language barrier but our waiter did his best to accommodate us, so overall I really enjoyed this place.
I had the Salmon Bretona which looked, and tasted excellent. The mash potatoes were pretty cheesy but again good. The waiter was excellent. The menu is simple, which I think is a good thing. There is live music and the restaurant has a nice decor. I will be visiting this restaurant again for sure.
Great place to go with friends, family or couple. Different ambient, inside or outside
My bad: I dont speak Spanish, miscommunication can happen. Staff was not trained to engage in different ways then spanish. First: I pointed clearly on the menu (and spoke in my best Spanish) Entrecote, Medium rare. 15 minutes later, they come back. We dont have that; I ordered a sirloin steak, the getnleman said perfect. 5 minutes later, the lady came and spoke.....very quick spanish. I didnt have a clue, I thought she might propose a side dish so I repeated as a parrot what she said. 15 mintues later, I get an entirely new dish. After another two minutes of complications I understood that they also didnt have the sirloin steak, and apparently that was -after realizing- what the lady said in so many (not clear to me) words. It trully was such a bad experience. A restaurant doesnt have the main revenue drivers of there business? Also, how difficult is it for staff who dont speak english to use the english menu and point towards something I do understand? Ultimatly, if you are having a restaurant in a tourist area, shouldn't you at least hire staff who know the basics of a menu'in English, and the basics on making sure that you understand your customers needs? Unfortunatly I only speak 3 languages, and Spanish is not one of them (besides the 100+ words) Lastly, the noise in the restaurant was also unpleasant, from the casino next door.
