My experience at Malecon Rooms & Hotel was enjoyable. The rooms are quite basic and on the smaller side, but they were clean. The service was good, with staff being attentive and helpful. Additionally, the hotel's location is also good, making it convenient for exploration

This little place is great. José and Chantal amd front desk are just wonderful folks and very kind. Perfect for a budget friendly stay. The bed is super comfy and the place is spotless.

The staff definitely cares about your wellbeing, however there is no elevator, and the WIFI is absolutely terrible. The truth of the matter is that the rooms are big and spacious with decent size bathrooms, however I had to take stairs to get up to my room and stairs in my room; yes for some reason the room had 2 floors with stars a few feet from the door. Overall decent place but lacking in amenities and accessibility services (elevator).

Staff is extremely helpful & knowledgeable of surrounding areas. I was treated so well and amazing during my 4 day stay. Internet here is absolutely amazing if you are a remote worker or simply looking to enjoy stable internet services. With a wide range of rooms, I was able to change mine due to noise from the street. A real convenience was having a restaurant, pharmacy & ice cream shop all downstairs from here. Highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to travel around Santo Domingo & have a nice area to come back home to.

The lady was nice who i spoke to but the room had no water. The toilet did not work and the air conditioner did not work. I wanted a refund because no one would stay at a place like that especially on vacation. I suggest you look before you book as it looks like they do that to make you leave and keep the money
