In order to retire in Dominican Republic you must have medical insurance. God forbid if you only have essential hypertension...they will not insure you. They expect expacts who are considering moving to D.R. to have excellent health at 65 years old. Lol. So, if you even suffer from allergies don't even think of retiring to this beautiful country. Insurance such as MAPFRE will disqualify you before you could say, OH my God!

They are understaffed sadly but the service you get from the representatives there is really great actually help you with your issues and the air conditioning is very good the turn system is automatic and experience in general is very quick
