Extremely overpriced clothing (500 US dollar for a linen shirt!), I can buy that for 1/3 of the price at home. Service rather unpleasant.

Owner sold me on 3 overpriced shirts that didn’t fit but she pushed and I listened. Now I have 3 tight stiff linen shorts that are the highest priced, lowest quality linen I’ve ever purchased and they won’t even let me exchange for the right size. Overpriced

Claims all good are imported from Italy yet a men's Panama style hat selling for $US 35.00 is sold at KB Mens accessory store in Santo Domingo for 495 pesos (US $8.50). It is the EXACT same hat. You can see where Mediterraneo undid the stitching to remove the tag that says made in the PRC( peoples republic of china). If they would lie about one item, why not about all. AVOID. Give your money to locals that need it, not overpriced ex-pat shopkeepers.
