Striking poses in the famous Monumento de Santiago. It was originally built during the dictatorship of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo in 1944 as El Monumento a la Paz de Trujillo. I found it okay... nice little walk around it even though it was raining a bit. Some kids had their chiriguaguas (chiringas) out and it was amusing. Hope you enjoy

It's a very popular spot in Santiago with a great history I recommend if you como for a visit, there's plenty of restaurant all around for you to have a great time .Horse carriage for you to enjoy with family or a couple You could even fly kites. With plenty of parking all around.. A must see if you come to the Dominican Republic...❤🇩🇴
