I bought a 12-gallon water heater, and ever since it was installed by a certified plumber, it hasn't worked properly; the hot water only lasts 3 minutes. I took it back to have the 3-month warranty honored, and from the moment I walked into the store, they gave me a thousand excuses. The heavier of the two male employees and the woman treated me as if I were trying to scam them, telling me the installer did a bad job. After arguing for a while, I left the water heater with them for 5 days, and when I went back today, November 2, 2026, to pick it up, they told me their technician had checked it and that everything was fine. Never in my life have I had such a bad experience with service, and they simply washed their hands of it like Pontius Pilate, blaming it entirely on me because the plumber supposedly installed it incorrectly. The woman even tried to tell me I had dropped it when I took it down at home, and that I had put it in my car myself and secured it with the passenger seatbelt so it wouldn't move. These people sold me a defective water heater and did nothing for me. They claimed it was missing a small tube, but that was a lie because my plumber confirmed it was indeed the tube. He made sure it was on the hot water side and refused to even remove the hot water valve to show me what they thought was missing. The young man tried to deceive me by saying it was on the cold water side, and then they started saying that the plumber I used must have stolen it. Now I'm $6,457.00 pesos short with a water heater that only works for 3 minutes before it turns cold. And that doesn't even include the cost of installing and uninstalling it, and now reinstalling it, which will cost another $4,500.00 pesos just to see if it works properly. I strongly advise everyone in Punta Cana, Cap Cana, Verón, and the entire province of La Altagracia not to buy anything from La Casa del Plomero. They are complete scammers and do not honor the warranty they claim to offer. A truly awful business and service.

Terrible service. They don't honor warranties and sell defective equipment that doesn't work. I bought a 12-gallon electric water heater that didn't work. They refused to replace it and kept it for five days, supposedly to fix it. According to them, the product was everyone's fault except theirs. Don't buy from them; you'll regret it like I did.

Beware of the prices… the service was incredibly slow, taking over an hour to get served, and on top of that, they charged us double the price for a pool waterfall—exactly double! Unbelievable! And when we went to return it, they wouldn't give us a refund, they just issued a credit note! In the end, they realized they were wrong and refunded us the difference.
