Ocama is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed in my life. If you are deciding where to stay in Dominican Republic and want something a little more remote with a 5 star experience this is the place. Incredible service, food, attention to detail and the view is breathtaking. The whole team is there to make you feel safe and welcomed and I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be back! It is worth every dollar.

Ocama for us was paradise. I stayed with my mother and father to celebrate my mother's and my birthday and we absolutely loved it. From the service, to the beautiful garden and pool, the food, to the pristine beaches, our experience was top notch. We highly recommend Ocama.

My stay at Ocama in the Dominican Republic was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. The staff was beyond friendly and incredibly helpful — always responsive and happy to bring us anything we forgot or needed in the moment. I usually spend weeks researching and booking places, but this was a last-minute decision, and it turned out to be our best trip. The property was spotless, the decks were large and inviting, and the outdoor showers overlooking the ocean were such a special touch. Showering while looking out at the water felt magical. I traveled with my two daughters, ages 8 and 11, and they were both comfortable and happy the entire time. On our first day, we swam, snorkeled, and paddle boarded — and we had the beach completely to ourselves. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. A storm rolled through halfway through our stay and made ATV-ing more fun and later on when the sun came out the girls loved swimming in the waves where they were just snorkeling. Ocama arranged a whale-watching excursion for us. The boat driver picked us up right on the beach, which felt so effortless and special. He was incredibly kind and even brought his son along. We saw two humpback whales and then visited three other stunning beaches. At no point did I feel worried — we were completely at ease and just enjoying every moment. When we returned, Ocama had fresh smoothies waiting for us. My husband kept saying he wants to come back with all our friends — and I understand why. To share this wonderful experience! But part of what I loved most was how intimate and relaxed it felt. We weren’t on anyone else’s schedule. We didn’t have to dress up for dinner. We were totally in the jungle, and my girls absolutely loved that adventurous, tucked-away feeling. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, personal, and effortlessly beautiful, this is it. We can’t wait to return.

The epitome of serenity! The only problem is that we didn’t stay long enough! If you want to disconnect in one of the most exquisite, untouched parts of the natural world - look no further. The villas are spectacular - designed as an extension of nature, the views are enchanting, the homemade meals from chef Stefano are delicious (broccoli gnocchi to die for), housekeeping leaves the villas feeling brand new each day, and Mark + Hans were the best hosts we could ask for. It feels like a yoga retreat throughout the property. All you can hear is the insects, birds, breeze, and ocean waves. From sunrise on the top deck with morning coffee provided by the team to late night star gazing of all the constellations you could imagine, it’s a dream. It’s a brief and beautiful walk to a virtually private beach and another virgin beach is just over a hill. A lot of walking is required to explore the property, which we loved. It truly resets your mind, spirit, energy, and body staying here. We are already dreaming up our next visit. Absolute oasis with luxury, top tier service.
