It's a decent spot to stay for a few days and not spend much. Everything is kind of old and some things are in need of repair. The mini-fridge in my room had been unplugged for a while before I got there. The humidity trapped inside of it grew mold. The place can be a bit noisy. I could hear the staff joking and laughing in the hall outside the room and outside the window in my room facing the parking lot. It was irritating to be awoken by their conversations. Breakfast and dinner were included when I stayed. I never ate the breakfast but the dinner wasn't too good. Olimpo is good for a traveler on a budget. But if you can afford it, I'd recommend booking elsewhere.

Food is great. Love the food. No water battles available on site, you have to use the cooler and I hate using cooler in public places because of hygiene concerns. The desk lady is rude. I took the keys and remotes to her and she asked me to go back upstairs to bring them to someone else that I didn't even know. She was mad because I refused. None Sense!

Now I stayed here because my vehicle was being repaired and needed a nice inexpensive place to carry me for a few days... the beds were very very comfortable... good cold air conditioning...not a 200.00 a night hotel, but for about 50 to 60 dollars a night..I was ok with it because they even had a breakfast at the price.. walking distance from many mini stores and shops...after 2 nights. My girlfriend and I didn't want to leave so soon.. but at least i can recommend this one. It's very good at that price

I was moving to La Romana and during the process I stayed at this hotel, it was quite good, the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, they also offer breakfast and dinner that is included in the room price (up to 2 people per room) that's great! This hotel is ideal if you are traveling to La Romana for business or any other situation or if you are a tourist looking for a nice and cheap place to stay for a long time while getting to know the city. I wish there was a hotel like this in every city in the DR, it would be great!

I was in this hotel in September. A supervisor a skinny guy with glasses was charging my family over price because we were 3 person in a 2 bed room but he want us to moved to a 3 bed room because we were 3 people. When for law in a 2 bed room 4 person can stay in a 2 bed. He was trying to charge more than usually price for room. I’m not recommend this hotel skinny guy with glasses didn’t want to help.
