This place is very knowledgeable about curly hair. They are very structured on their services and also straight forward with the information they will give you. I used them when I started my curls journey and they were confident to tell me what would work for me or not. I value the courage to tell a customer what to expect, even if that is not what the customer wants to hear. I've been going back every time I have the chance even if I find their costs a little on the more expensive side, I think it is worth it, because I don't go to the salon so often. In this occasion I had an appointment for 1 person and brought more people with me. The team made us feel at home and gave all of us service even though it was a little after their close hour.

A very pleasant experience from the moment I was coordinating the appointment to the moment I walked in and out. I had been waiting for years to get a rezo cut and could not travel due to the pandemic up until now and let me tell you I am extremlely happy with the result. I will definitely recommend this salon and will be coming back next year. All the girls are very friendly and explain in detail everything that they will do/apply to your hair. Orchid (the owner) is very friendly, attentive and sweet, she noticed a scalp issue I had straight away and recommended me products and hair techniques to help. Im transitioning to curly hair so I really had no clue if what I was doing was okay or further damaging my hair. Orchid was great at explaining what I was doing well and what I had to change. What I didnt like is that for me to be a first timer I wanted her to be more attentive to who was cutting my hair and how her employees were applying products. Once she sent me to wash my hair, I didnt feel accompanied anymore. Also, if she took the time to explain how to apply products correctly in more detail, that’d have been great. Update After speaking more on Whatsapp about changes in my routine, I am very happy that Orchid has given me some of her time to explain how to improve my routine for better results according to my hair type (2b-3a low density and mixed porosity).

I saw Orchid studio on intagram, and looking at the pictures I felt confident to go there, I've been going to this salon for more than a year now, i've had hair cuts, highlights, reshaped my haircut, styled my hair, always satisfied, never been disapointed not once!
