The food has been a hit or miss. Highly recommend the pollo Al horno! They will have one item on your plate but the rest is off. On one occasion a server brought us alternatives to our meals without consultation. The cooks need to be hired intentionally.

I had the roasted chicken made over the hot coals. It was delicious. Had it with tostones and a chinola juice. Pouring some guasacaca sauce on the chicken put it to a new level. Can’t wait to go back.

Very busy place!!! Great prices, cubano sandwich was good but little pernil and garlic. Cubano arrived quickly, took 45mins for mofongo to come after ordered! Staff nice but busy.. No english...spanish speaking only. Parking on the side.

Best chimi in Santiago de los Caballeros. This is my go-to spot on my last night whenever I’m in town. It definitely feels a little hectic, but that’s because the place is always packed—which says a lot. They have an indoor restaurant, plus a window/to-go side that’s more of a pick-up-and-go setup. I’ve honestly never eaten inside; I always order through the window and take my chimi to go. The chimi itself is very flavorful, with all the right ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. Simple, consistent, and always hits the spot. If you’re in Santiago and craving a chimi, this place is a must.
