⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Paradisus Grand Cana was absolutely incredible! Everything about the resort exceeded our expectations — beautiful property, spacious rooms, great food, and outstanding service. The entertainment team deserves a huge shout-out because they truly made the experience unforgettable. Their energy and positivity created such a fun atmosphere around the resort every day. A very special thank you to Samira! She was amazing — always smiling, welcoming, and full of energy. She made the activities so much fun and went above and beyond to make guests feel included and happy. People like Samira are what make this resort so special. Every hotel comes with things it can control and those it cannot control. We were four adults who accidentally ended up at this place designed as a Disney world hotel away from the beach. The place had an equal number of kids under 8 as adults. The hotel is a l km away from the beach built in a perfect circle around central pools. Since the kids are perfectly happy with their pool, aqua park, and pizza, burger and fries - everything else is non existent , starting with quality food. Eg the guacamole you will get is from a big can. The drinks are the cheapest brands you can find. The speciality restaurants lack flavor. In other words - mass production catering to small kids escaping the cold of the northeast. Management would say that we should have booked a different paradisus and we agree. The stars of the show - service and especially Jonathan at the beach grill, Carolina and Ricardo in the concierge section, and Rosmery in lemon fish - she is the best! And thank you Yamlett!

Gustavo is the best concierge I’ve ever had at an all-inclusive resort. From the moment we arrived at Paridisus Grand Cana, he went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. He was incredibly attentive, always available, and proactive in helping us with reservations, recommendations, and anything we needed during our stay. What really stood out was how genuinely friendly and caring he was — he made us feel truly welcomed and valued as guests. Thanks to Gustavo, our vacation experience was smooth, relaxing, and even more enjoyable. His professionalism and dedication are outstanding, and he is a big reason why we will have such great memories of this trip. Thank you, Gustavo, for making our stay so special! Overall excellent. Beautiful hotel, clean, hot showers, spacious room (Master Suite), private transfer from and to airport was appreciated. Beach was lovely (minimal seaweed) and chairs/palapas always available. Our private concierge Omar was excellent. He was always accessible, communicated every day and helped set up dinner reservations. The kids got a surprise bubble jacuzzi set up, beach toys, and some other extras. Concierge upgrade is WORTH IT. Food & Drinks: excellent cocktails, quick service at most of the bars except the swim up bar. Buffet was actually quite good overall (the fish, beef, lamb were all so yummy!). I found most of the restaurants underwhelming. Pool/Water park: Pools and surrounding areas were clean and well maintained. Kids absolutely loved the water park. There is shallow pools for crawling babies, a splash pad, a toddler pool with smaller slides. The waterpark with big slides are in a pool that's about 5 feet in depth. Highly recommend for families with young children. Night entertainment was underwhelming (except water acrobatics). Loud music from 7:30-11:00pm in the main building/lobby area so if this bothers you, I recommend you book a room in buildings 1 or 6.

We had a fantastic experience at Agua Marina, and a huge part of that was thanks to Juan, our server. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly timed and exactly as ordered. Juan struck that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, and his friendly, professional attitude made the whole meal even more enjoyable. It’s rare to come across service that feels so effortless and sincere. If you’re dining at Agua Marina, ask for Juan—he truly elevates the entire experience. We’ll absolutely be back!
