One of best equipped kitchenware store for chefs and anyone looking to buy anything you might need for an industrial kitchen or household. Her owner is the sweetest woman you can find on earth and she has printed her seal in the wonderful staff she has. Lo mejor en nuestra ciudad.
I' have known of this shop for ages, because of it's website. At last I managed to visit and it was as good as I anticipated. For home cooks who want excellent equipment, this is a superb place to go. The shop looks good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The products are a delight. A surprise (for me) was that a lady hosted by the shop sells "home made" (made in the shop, I think) ravioli. these are gourmet (fitting the shop name), with Italian cheese or prosciutto filling. I couldn't resist buying some --- the are not cheap but you get what you pay for; quality is worth its price. The same goes for the shop's products. they are not cheap but they are a fair price for high quality goods. I bought a stone (granite) mortar for RD$3000. That might seem expensive but, to buy one from the US, postage alone will normally exceed RD$1000 and the mortar itself will cost near RD$2000 (in dollars), so the end cost is not going to be very different. Professional chefs or caterers will find larger and specialist equipment here too but the bulk of the shop is, for me, aimed at home cooks who take their food seriously. For them, the shop is a delight. Parking is limited but off-road (they remove the bollards if you seem intent on parking!).
Great place for good quality kitchen tools. Good prices.
Good variety
