You can't go wrong with nature! The park is small and you can tour it fast. You dont really need a tour guide. An Uber driver will get you there. Tickets are easy to get at the park entrance. Carry cash with you in order to take a small ride across one of the lakes to get to the biggest lake. Amazon view. You don't want to miss it!

We were in doubt if we would go and if we would make it but we are so so happy we went! It was a great way to end our 3 week trip in DR and to be honest one of the highlights. It's great to find such a national park and serene spot in the middle of the city. We took an Uber from the city centre for about 4 dollars. Entrance fee is 200DOP for adults our kids were free. We went alone without a guide or tour. The water in the caves is crystal clear and we saw turtles, lobsters and various fish. Would recommend to take the pont in the back for 50DOP for an adult and 25DOP per child so that you can see the 4th lake. You can also upstairs walk around the 4th lake. Count with about 1,5hrs in total inside depending on how fast you go. We had two kids of 6 with us. There is quite a few stairs to walk and it can be pretty humit but it is so so worth it!

A truly stunning wonderful magical place to visit, there are 3 underground lakes within the caves, the water is crystal clear, one of the lakes is blue, you can also have a short boat ride inside the caves, a point worth noting is that you need to be steady on your feet as there are numerous steps to climb up and down in order to see the lakes and caves at their best. There are numerous photo opportunities, a point worth noting is keep hydrated as although it is an underground cave network it is also quite humid down there. There are plenty of seating areas so you can take the tour at your own pace. There is a cafeteria selling food and drink, public toilets and plenty of car parking. The local people also have stalls selling a wide range of gifts and souvenirs to remind you of your visit. I would highly recommend visiting this attraction and you will not be disappointed.

If you’re in Santo Domingo, you have to visit this park! It is beautiful and feels totally unreal. Because it’s underground, it’s a bit dark and atmospheric, which adds to the natural beauty. • Timing: They open at 8:00 AM, and I highly recommend getting there right then. It gets busier later in the morning, so arriving early is the best way to enjoy it without the crowds. • The 4th Eye: While there are three main lakes, there is a 4th eye you can see. You can spot it from up top, but it is totally worth it to pay the 50 pesos to take the boat across and see it properly. • Safety/Access: The stairs are a little narrow, but there is a handrail for support the whole way down. Overall, an amazing experience and a must-see. Don't miss it!

Very pretty. I took a one day excursion from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo. This place is part of the tour and I wish I could spend more time there to sre everything. With all the steps that you have to walk up and down it might not be a great choice for senior people.
