Awesome! Must do. Okay im going to start with the bad, to get it out of the way. Complaint: 1) They have a lot of animals. But the cools ones, they have like 1 or 2. Not a lot of each type to see. 2) things cost extra inside... its like $1... but still I'll tell ya more. The rest is pure awesome: - This park is HUGE. So be prepared to walk! - There is a free tram, but it kinda goes fast. So youll end up (at least I recommend) walking the park again. - The ice cream on the tram (additional cost) is amazing highly recommended ($1) - Theres a cool play area for kids in the back, which was great for us to get a little time but for the kids to have fun. - The "infant" zoo is $1... I dont know why its called the infant zoo... it was mostly teens and adults. I think "petting or feeding zoo" might be more appropriate. Amd I think the $1 is really cuz you get food to give them, but they dont explain any of this. Great for the kiddos. More slides and fun stuff in there too. - The views are spectacular. Well maintained. -Oh AND LOTS OF SHADE!! You'll habe plenty of places, nearly the entire time to be in or out of the sun, whichever you prefer. 100% recommended. Must do.

It was really fun and good value for the money ($200 pesos). There’s a train that takes you through a guided tour and small park/ picnic area. We went first thing Saturday morning and there was no wait. Average time spent was ~1.5-2hrs.

It's a really fun and amazing place to go. I love how it's really integrated with nature. Makes you feel like you're in the jungle or a safari.

This is a wonderful zoo and would highly recommend anyone to check it out if they are in the Santo Domingo area. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. They also have a really neat tram or mini train ride that takes you on a tour of the zoo, but it's also great for walking around exploring on your own!

I had a good time there. It is cheap, only 150 per person. I really enjoyed the fact that the animals have space and look well taken care care of. It has a dedicated playground for kids and the train ride is a whole trip; very fun. It can be a good workout if you choose to walk. I wish I could get closer to certain animals though.
