They charge you when you arrive, and then when you're about to leave they try to charge you again. Ask for your receipt when you pay.

Excellent! Right across from the Consulate. It's a flat rate of RD$250 from 6 am to 6 pm. It's spacious. It's not covered. It's not paved. The parking attendants are very friendly and respectful. Very organized. I recommend arriving before 7 am.

They charge you 250 pesos to park with 10,000 other cars; you can't even get out. The only good thing is that it's across from the embassy.
